Amanda Leahy

CEO

As the CEO of Accrete, a Registered Training Organisation, Amanda routinely exercises the Human Resource, technical, financial and management responsibilities associated with that position.  She also has a frontline role in the development and delivery of tailored leadership and management training to a wide range of public and private sector clients.  Complementing these two endeavours, Amanda plays an active role in supporting a number of community issues and groups.

Prior to joining Accrete, Amanda was a family law solicitor specialising in complex property settlements.  She has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution including negotiation and mediation.  Throughout her legal career Amanda was responsible for the delivery of Professional Development seminars and served as a volunteer solicitor for the Sunshine Coast Legal Service

As an individual Amanda has a passion for promoting the understanding and building of positive workplace cultures.  She brings this passion to all endeavours she undertakes resulting in loyalty and commitment from those she works with. Her experience as a practicing family law solicitor resulted in exemplary research skills and an enviable ability to establish and maintain effective working and interpersonal relationships with a broad range of people at all levels.

Robert Staples

Senior Facilitator

Rob has been a facilitator with Accrete for three years and brought with him to the business more than a decade of experience in roles in the design, development, delivery and assessment of Training and Development programs and activities around Australia and in India, Vietnam and Cambodia. He has held Training Management roles at both state and national levels in Telstra and in the Queensland Government where he was twice nominated for the Premier’s Excellence Awards in Government.

As well as Leadership and Management courses, Rob has delivered programs in Sales Techniques and Personal Development, and has hosted National business conferences and seminars. He holds an Associate Diploma in Business Management and a Diploma in Adult Education.

Rob is a DiSC Accredited Consultant and Facilitator.

Mark Leahy

Senior Facilitator

Mark is a founding Director of Accrete and has extensive leadership and training design, development, implementation and delivery experience. He has had line management accountabilities throughout Australia with international and remote area experience and responsibility for up to 600 professional, technical and administrative staff.

He has managed budgets to $300m and inventories to $250m and experienced head office staff responsibilities including strategic planning, resource and budgetary management and international logistics.  He retired as a Colonel from the Australian Regular Army before establishing ‘Mark Leahy Training & Management Consultancy’ in 1997.

Mark has extensive experience in management/leadership training development programs incorporating business coaching and mentoring.  He has exceptional interpersonal skills and is able to motivate participants to achieve maximum results.

Mark is a HBDI (Hermann Brain Dominance Indicator) Accredited Practitioner.

Deborah Leahy

Accounts Manager

Deborah has been with Accrete since 2016.  She is responsible for all accounts functions including liasing with clients regarding invoices or the like.  If you have an accounts query please get in touch with Deb.
